§ 9-2.904. Prior Occupancy.

If any building or structure is occupied prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy or temporary certificate of occupancy as required by Section 9-1.902 or 9-1.903 of the City of Modesto Building Code, the Building Official shall have the authority to request the immediate discontinuance of the electrical service and/or the gas service by the appropriate utility.
