§ 9-8.2502. Elevators.

In buildings equipped with passenger elevators, at least one (1) elevator shall be maintained in operation all times when the building is occupied.

Exception:

Buildings equipped with only one (1) elevator shall be permitted to have the elevator temporarily out of service for testing and servicing.
