§ 9-11.903. Floor and Roof Designs-Live Loads Posted.

In commercial, institutional or industrial buildings the City of Modesto Fire Marshal shall require durable signage on each floor or portion thereof indicating design live loads exceeding 50 psf (2.40 kN/m2 ). Such signage shall be conspicuously posted by the owner or the owner's authorized agent in that part of each story in which they apply. It shall be unlawful to remove or deface such signage.
