§ 4-7.1201. Permit Required.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use or permit to be used any type of lights commonly designated as searchlights for the purpose of advertising, or for any other purpose, without first securing a separate written permit from the Chief of Police for each such location at which a searchlight is desired to be used or operated. This section shall not apply to any governmental agency.
