§ 3-7.09. Eligibility for Membership.

To be eligible for membership in the Reserve, each applicant must indicate his willingness to serve an average minimum number of hours per month in the public service as prescribed by the Chief, and when any member fails to serve said minimum number of hours as required by the rules, the Chief shall inquire into the reasons therefore, and unless good reason is shown for said failure to render the minimum number of hours herein required, the Chief may recommend to the City Manager the dismissal of the member from the Reserve.
