Pursuant to the authority contained in Section 935 of the Government Code and Section 1312 of the City Charter, the City establishes the following claims procedure for claims
against the City for money or damages: Notwithstanding any other section or subsection
of this Code, all claims against the City for money or damages, including all claims
excepted in Section 905 of the Government Code, shall be presented in the manner prescribed by Sections 910
through 915.4 of the Government Code within the time limitations specified in Section
911.2 of the Government Code, and shall be subject to the provisions of Section 945.4
of the Government Code.
