§ 2-3.601. Consolidation with the County Health Department.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 903 of the Charter of the City of Modesto and of the pertinent sections of the Health and Safety Code, the City Health Department is consolidated with the County Health Department for the purpose of enforcing State laws and regulations relating to public health. The enforcement of the provisions of the Municipal Code relating to health matters shall be provided by the County Health Officer, acting as City Health Officer, under terms of an agreement with the County of Stanislaus.
