(a)

Whenever this Code or any ordinance, resolution or other official document or action of the City of Modesto refers to or uses the titles Utilities Planning and Projects Director, Director of Utilities Planning and Projects, UPP Director, Utility Services Department Director, Director of Utility Services Department, or Utilities Director, they shall be deemed to refer to the Director of Utilities of the City of Modesto in relation to any matter under the jurisdiction of that Director.

(b)

Whenever this Code or any ordinance, resolution or other official document or action of the City of Modesto refers to or uses the titles Utilities Planning and Projects Department, Department of Utilities Planning and Projects, UPP Department, or Utility Services Department, they shall be deemed to refer to the Utilities Department of the City of Modesto in relation to any matter under the jurisdiction of that Department.
