(a)

Whenever this Code or any ordinance, resolution or other official document or action of the City of Modesto refers to or uses the titles Personnel Director, Director of Personnel, Human Resources Director, or Director of Human Resources, they shall be deemed to refer to the Director of Administrative Services of the City of Modesto in relation to any matter under the jurisdiction of that Director.

(b)

Whenever this Code or any ordinance, resolution or other official document or action of the City of Modesto refers to or uses the titles Chief Information Officer, Director of Information technology, Information Technology Director, or CIO, they shall be deemed to refer to the Director of Administrative Services of the City of Modesto in relation to any matter under the jurisdiction of that Director.

(c)

Whenever this Code or any ordinance, resolution or other official document or action of the City of Modesto refers to or uses the titles the Personnel Department or the Human Resources Department, they shall be deemed to refer to the Administrative Services Department of the City of Modesto in relation to any matter under the jurisdiction of that Department.

(d)

Whenever this Code or any ordinance, resolution or other official document or action of the City of Modesto refers to or uses the title Information Technology Department, they shall be deemed to refer to the Administrative Services Department of the City of Modesto in relation to any matter under the jurisdiction of that Department.
